Every child develops at a different rate. Speech-language therapy is the treatment for children and adults with speech and/or language disorders. Speech-language therapists work on a variety of disorders/challenges to improve communication skills.
Our speech therapists work with families to assess/diagnose speech-language challenges, develop a treatment plan tailored to address their needs; delivery therapy that is targeted to your child. Their progress is monitored/assessed, and the therapist adjusts the treatment plan to meet the needs of your child.
At the initial appointment, a certified speech-language therapist will work with you to evaluate your child and then develop a plan customized to your child. They will share their findings with you and explain the treatment plan in detail. Throughout the process the therapist will involve you to gather information and provide on insight on your child. Face-to-face, home visits and teletherapy appointments are available.
You will work with your child’s therapist to schedule appointments. Periodically the therapist will evaluate your child’s progress and make recommendations for ongoing treatment.
